'From time to time, I like playing with various lists and statistics and try to get some astrological connections. Because the oil spill is a top subject this period of time I decided to take a look on this subject and to see if there is any astrological correlation. From the beginning my ideea is to see if Ceres is somehow involved – it is well known that Ceres and ecology are quite strong connected.'

"Perhaps the most important point in this particular equinox is the Moon at 26 degrees of Taurus.  That is where Algol (“The Ghoul”) is located.  Generally, Algol is considered “unfavorable.”
Most astrologers would say the most unfavorable: associated with murders, serial killers, and especially beheadings.  Reputedly, “Saddam Hussein [had] Mercury on Algol (torture lover), [and]  Richard Speck, murder[er] of 8 nurses had Pluto on Algol.”"

A Titan of astrological education has fallen. As announced on Monday in the Horoscopic Astrology Blog, “Kepler College Cancels Current Term, School Closing”. Three days before this announcement, I posted a blog titled The Evolution of Astrology, in which I predicted hard times ahead for traditonal forms of astrology based on them being represented by Saturn:

The workings of the universe is probably the most important, yet also the most ignored, topic. There have been various philosophies and explanations for the same in ancient scriptures of various civilisations. One of the most significant being the Chinese philosophy on the natural phenomenon of the universe, or the Tao, as mentioned in I Ching (the foundation of Chinese philosophy also known as the Book of Changes). The book explains the metaphysical workings of the entire universe and is the origin of what is called the Yin-Yang school of Chinese thought.

I was aware that there was a big astrological story to this quake, but have not had the objectivity to write about it until now. It felt more important to feel and to grieve. Retrograde Mercury’s signature is “attention to detail” and, being a few arc-minutes form the Sun, the president’s focus for this term, like it or not, will be attention to every detail of government."
